The Company is a High Street Retailer based in UK. The Company provides decoration products with a home delivery service. The company did not have any Internet presence and had approached two independent software consulting companies for setting up their internet sales channel
Support Analysis
The company needed a simple technology implementation solution. The two independent technology vendors both based in India were not fully conversant with the consumer behaviour in the UK.
The buying process from both the vendors were technology driven rather than business driven.
The important buy decision locations were ignored.
The call to action was not intuitive.

The Technology Advisory Service Solution
Based on an understanding of the program requirements, the Technology Advisory Team conducted a functional audit of the process and presented to the Company management. All the issues were acknowledged and accepted. One technology vendor was commissioned to implement the solution and all the change requests were formally communicated to the vendor. The technology advisory service conducted a full QA on all the deliverables of the technology vendor so that all its recommendation were implemented.
